Green light for land disposals

A NUMBER of disposals of small parcels of land belonging to Wicklow County Council were passed at last Monday’s meeting.

0.00060 hectares of land in the townland of Bray adjacent to 27 Connolly Square, Bray will go to Ciaran Connaughton, 27 Connolly Square, Bray.

It was also agreed to the disposal of the piece of plot of ground with a dwelling-house and premises in Arklow to Barry O’Neill, 114 Fernhill, Arklow.

239.50m2 of office space in Arklow, Arklow Courthouse first storey area by way of a lease for a period of four years and nine months, to Arklow Business Enterprise Centre.

Also on the agenda was the disposal of 0.43 acres of land in the townland of Rathdrum by way of a three year lease and right to pass and re[ass thereto, to Noel and Helen Jacob of Jacob’s Well, Rathdrum. However, Senior Executive Officer Lorraine Gallagher said the item could be moved from the agenda as there were plans to develop a roadway.
