VHI Mini marathon being run virtually

This year’s VHI Women’s Mini Marathon takes place virtually between October 1 and 10.

Greystones Cancer Support is hoping for lots of enthusiastic walkers and runners to support them. They can participate at any time and anywhere between those dates.

‘We are hoping that many women in the Greystones, Delgany, Kilcoole, Newcastle and Newtownmountkennedy areas will put on their running or walking shoes for Greystones Cancer Support,’ said Chairman Sonia Walsh. ‘We need your help to continue our work, especially in the current challenging times. It will be a great endeavour, and all in aid of a good cause.’

The Women’s Mini Marathon is one of two major fundraisers for GCS and especially important given these uncertain and challenging times.

The entry age for the event is 14. Registration can be done at vhiwomensminimarathon.ie. Registration is €10 and includes a t-shirt and a medal from VHI.
