Seizureof cannabis parcels
CANNABIS seized by Revenue Officers in Dublin was destined for the Wicklow market, as well as other counties.
Over 1.4 kilos of herbal cannabis was intercepted at Dublin Mail Centre on Thursday, with an estimated street value of €29,940. Detector dog Bailey assisted Revenue Officers as the drugs were discovered in four separate parcels which originated in Canada and the U.S..
The parcels were wrongly declared as sweaters, yoga towels, jackets, and rubber dogs.
They were destined for addresses in Co Wicklow, as well as Dublin, Donegal and Cork.
Investigations into the herbal cannabis and where the parcels were destined remain ongoing.
