‘Space’ is a celebration of the imagination, and explores the worlds within our own minds. Often overwhelmed by the dayto-day, nimf shares the idea that time spent by yourself can have endless possibilities.
nimf, aka Aoibhin Redmond, is an Irish sugar-pop performance artist. Her performance aesthetic transports you to a dreamy land. Being fascinated with magical creatures from a young age, nimf juxtaposes the traditional nymph with a cyberpunk twist.
Her last single, ‘Cloudy dreams,’ was played on Irish and international radio. It also featured on well-respected music blogs. Gorilla Vs. Bear, An escapist of reality, this track represents nimf’s experiences as an autistic musician and her need to indulge in her own imagination.
A DIY musician, nimf created the entire track in her own bedroom.
Starting on an acoustic guitar and slowly moving towards an electronic style, nimf has captivated her listeners with playful, child-like lyrics and music, comparable to Yaeji, Kero Kero Bonito, Laurie Anderson, Grimes and CHAI.
