Jo Browne announces new ecofriendly makeup remover pads

-

A HACKETSTOWN-based company has announced it is adding to its eco-friendly beauty and wellness range.

Jo Browne has included reusable makeup remover pads in the brand’s collection of luxury skincare, aromatherapy and homewares.

Made from organic bamboo, the pack of six sustainable pads are gentle on the skin and can be washed and used again and again to help reduce daily waste.

Caring for the environment could not be easier, Jo Browne said, with less cotton wool and pads ending up in the bin. It can also help to reduce cotton production which involves pesticides and significant water use.

‘Organically grown bamboo is sustainable and an amazing multitasking material. It delivers on an environmental level and provides smooth and luxuriously soft fibres that can be used in producing a raft of household items and fabrics, from clothing and bedding to towels, packaging and paper,’ Jo Browne said.

Based in Coolmanagh, Hacketstown, the Jo Browne company launched three years ago with its solid perfume offering. Since then, the award-winning range has expanded its skincare and perfume ranges.

All ingredients are completely natural too, with everything handmade and poured at the company’s Hacketstown facility.

Jo Browne said bamboo is a sustainable biodegradable resource.

‘Consumers are returning to nature for natural ingredients, which is the essence of our brand. We choose bamboo for packaging and ingredients because of the positive environmental impact, and because people want a greener, more natural, lifestyle,’ she said.
