weekend of thanksgiving, familiar hymns and eating cake. We are proposing the following for our harvest festival this year this Friday: 8 p.m. – Harvest memories – A retrospective. This will be an online gathering with all the usual familiar hymns led by the choir and no restriction on you singing at the top of your voice in your own home. There will also be familiar harvest readings and, equally importantly we hope to have a zoom harvest supper afterwards, bring your own cake. This Sunday: 11 a.m. – Harvest Wishes: A Prayer for our Future. An all-age family service with people present in church and joining us online as we consider how ‘God Saves His People’ – and how we care for His world. Once again Bring your own cake.

Masses in St Fergal’s Church: Please sanitize your hands on entering the church. Collection baskets are no longer distributed during Mass so the envelopes handed out as you enter the church on Sundays are used for your offerings and should be dropped into either the wooden boxes or the baskets at the back of the church, as you leave. The distribution of Holy Communion will take place at the end of Mass so people will not return to their seats. Please follow the arrows, and approach the Altar row by row, up the side Aisles, and leave the church immediately by the centre Aisle. Please fill the seats row by row using the seat markings, and do not delay leaving the church, or the church grounds, as there is a time limit in place for all gatherings and the church has to be sanitised after each Mass. Unfortunately the toilets in the church must remain closed. Parents are asked to ensure that all children remain seated during Mass. There will be no missalettes, newsletters, or newspapers available in the church but all our parish information is available on the website.
