-

The North Wicklow Country Market is now back running inside the Newcastle Community Hall on Saturday mornings from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Orders can still be texted to 086 8034237 and will be available for collection on arrival.

Following Government guidelines, the market has put a one-way system in operation.

The teas and coffees are available inside the hall now.

Organisers said that they are indebted to their ‘wonderful and loyal customers for their support during this difficult time for us all’. They have also extended their thanks to people for their continued understanding.

Greystones Library has been reopened to the public for browsing and borrowing.

Hand hygiene stations have been installed in all libraries and social distancing requirements will have to be observed. All returned books will be quarantined before being shelved.

An appeal is being made for old photos, articles and documents for a website about the history and heritage of Delgany Village.

Wicklow County Council heritage department and the National Library of Ireland are developing the resource with Tommy MacMackin.

The site is due to go live soon and more material is needed to populate it in advance of the launch. The main headings are people, places and topics.

Anything provided needs to be suitable for publication on a website. Materials can be emailed to tommy.mackmackin@gmail.com.
