Kearns makes it big
HEARTY congratulations to Ashford’s Thomas Kearns who was named at half-back on the Garvey’s Supervalu Team of the Championship in Kerry this week.
Thomas, a student at IT Carlow, was a member of the St Brendans team who bowed out of the championship at the hands of eventual winners East Kerry on Friday, September 11.
Kearns joins such footballing royalty as David Clifford, Dara Moynihan and Jack Sherwood and forms a half-back line along with Mike Breen and Pa Kilkenny. Well done, Thomas.
