Credit to all involved for super events
SUNDAY’S county Minor and Senior hurling finals were well organised and more or less enjoyable encounters.
The Minor decider was a belter of a game between North Wicklow Gaels and Bray Emmets with the Gaels coming through after a thoroughly entertaining battle that showcased all that is good about hurling in the north of the county.
The Senior final might have been one-sided but credit to all involved in bringing the games live to supporters all over Ireland and the world and credit, too, to those who managed to get a ticket to Aughrim for making it a great atmosphere.
Credit as well to Mollie Mulroe for her outstanding rendition of Amhrán na bhFiann ahead of the Senior decider.
