Well done young ladies
Well done to the Clan Na Gael under-12 team who won their final against Valleymount on Saturday. The Valleymount girls made Clan Na Gael work hard throughout and special mention must go to Hazel Prendergast, who fought like a warrior and taking some tough knocks, Saoirse Di Biasi, the youngest player at eight years of age, deserves a special mention for her running and tackling, Farah Hussain in the goals made some great saves, and Aisling Meehan was amazing as usual with her goal scoring skills and great tackling.
The backs where held together by Beibhinn Lavery, who has an amazing talent from taking the ball off any player that dares to try get round her while Regan King for gave it her all in midfield with her never give up attitude. The final score was Clan Na Gael 6-04 to Valleymounts 2-02 and well done to all of the team, each of them had their best game this season and that is what makes them all worthy winners.
