Patricia King will be buried beside her daughter Andrea
A GREAT sense of grief greeted the sad news on Thursday that Patricia King of Hazelbrook Meadow, Rathnew and formerly of Heatherwood, Boghall Road, Bray, had passed away suddenly at her home.
Patricia will be buried beside and reunited with her daughter Andrea, who tragically passed away in Gorey in 2006 after pushing her then three- month old son across the road to safety in a buggy before she was struck and killed by an articulated lorry just before Christmas.
Patricia is sadly missed by her loving sons Paul and Ken, daughters- in- law Trisha and Niamh, sisters Margaret and Maureen, grandchildren Lauren, Ryan, Mary, Rebecca, Paul, Connor, Sam, Charlie, Jack and Alexandrea, great- grandchildren Carly, Ruby- Mae, Ariyah, grand sons- in- law Ben and Peter, brothers- in- law, sisters- in- law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
She was also the sister of the late Kathleen and Bernie.
Patricia was a kind and good-natured person who completely doted on her family. She hadn’t lived in Rathnew for long but was very highly regarded by her neighbours.
Due to the current HSE guidelines, Patricia’s Funeral Service will be private, for family only. The service takes place at McCrea’s Chapel, Wicklow town today, Wednesday, October 7 at 11.30 a. m.
It followed by internment in Springfield Cemetery, Bray with her beloved daughter Andrea.
