Alzpals Libraryopen

Wicklow Dementia Support is seeking volunteers for its Alzpals service.

Alzpals is a befriending service which supports people with dementia who are living at home. Full, free training (online) will be provided with Garda vetting, reference checks, support and ongoing mentoring.

Greystones Library has been reopened to the public for browsing and borrowing.

Hand hygiene stations have been installed in all libraries and social distancing requirements will have to be observed. All returned books will be quarantined before being shelved.
