Council waiting for painting and planting quote for two homes in Kilbride Lane development

- By MARY FOGARTY

RESIDENTS of Clover Hill have been told that the council has sought a quote to paint walls outside two new homes which were part of the Kilbride Lane development.

Writing to a resident of Clover Hill a council spokesman said that there will also be planting, the extent of which is yet to be clarified, as well as a galvanised fence.

The spokesman said that the council is also waiting for confirmation from the contractor regarding window washing.

Two of the Kilbride Lane units will be facing into Clover Hill and will have addresses in that estate.

The resident previously said that he had been told due to higher costs, there was less available for works such as painting and planting.

‘ There is a worry that the

finish of the Kilbride Lane development won’t complement and integrate with Clover Hill,’ said Cllr Dermot O’Brien at a meeting last month of Bray Municipal District Council.

A meeting called for between housing staff and residents of Clover Hill did not occur, but communications were made regarding the matter at hand.
