NEW ART SHOWCASE

-

ARKLOW’S creativity is on display once again at a new exhibition in the Arklow Visual Arts Gallery.

The members exhibition, which got under way on September 25, features a range of paintings and photos. The beautiful work covers a diverse selection of subjects. There are a variety of styles from the realistic to the surreal, but all the works showcase the imagination and creativity of the artists.

To comply with Covid-19 public health guidelines, an opening night event did not take place. Instead, an ‘open day’ took place to launch the show, which followed Covid-19 social distancing guidelines. The exhibition continues until Thursday, October 8.

The members showcasing their art are as follows: Alan Browne, Mary Mitchell, Tony Byrne, Sarah Eva Manson, Jadwiga Pawlak, Michaela Bertsch, Attracta Manson, Iwona Blaji, Andrew Manson, Helen Woods, Pauline Merry, Dorothy Hutson, Sofia Bury, Nicola Keane, Charles Dudley, Elaine Tobin, Sean Kavanagh and Aidan Fitzgibbon.

The Arklow Visual Arts Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. Admission is free and all are welcome to visit.
