TRANSITION YEAR CLEAN UP

Teams of Transition Year students have been busy cleaning up the TY courtyard area in an ongoing project to utilise and upgrade many of our outdoor spaces. Tending the planted beds, sweeping up debris and maintaining our upcycled seating area are just some the tasks carried out by the teams. Having such a well-kept outdoor space is an invaluable addition to the school and it is great to see students taking responsibility for their own recreational spaces.

PIZZA PARTY

Second Year students were treated to a pizza party in the canteen last week as a gesture of thanks for being the top collectors in last year’s annual sponsored walk. Hosted shortly before the school closure, the annual walk was the only fundraising event for the school and we were extremely grateful to the local community for their support.

Congratulations to the newly elected students Ava Carter and Luke Heffernan on being appointed as Head Girl and Head Boy this week. Congratulations also to Deputy Girl Lauren O’Reilly and Deputy Boy Niall Byrne. We wish you all well in these roles and look forward to your positive contribution this year.
