The Winter League sponsored by the Doogue family through Kaideen Knitwear had a record entry of 197 entries this week.

Scoring was hot once again this week with Stephen Byrne shooting the lights out, scoring 48 points closely followed by Mark Ashton and 14-year-old Eoghan Cooney on 46 points.

To facilitate track and tracing we encourage all members to use BRS when playing the course at any time. Even if there are no names on the time sheet please use the system.

Everyone will agree the course are greens are in great shape, it’s in everybody’s interest to keep the high standards we have become used to so we are asking all members to repair pitch marks on the greens and replace divots. If cutting in at the 12th tee box can members make sure there’s no one coming down the 11th hole, your cooperatio­n on these issues would be appreciate­d.
