Digital Audio Boom

Listeners are flocking to podcasts and digital audio and more brands are tuning into the marketing potential, writes Siobhán O’Connell

Backing Business is Virgin Media’s campaign to help put the spotlight on Irish business, and is designed to underpin the renewal and recovery of each one throughout Ireland. The campaign is providing support in the form of promotions across Virgin Media TV’s Ireland AM, webinars, interviews and taking #BackingBus­iness on the road, where we recently dropped in to meet businesses and people in Limerick city.

In total, Virgin Media Television broadcast five hours of TV live from Limerick, reaching 550,000 individual­s on Virgin Media One across and Twenty SMEs from Limerick were represente­d on air across the day. It was a moment to shine a light on the local business community and the talented people behind them, representa­tive of all businesses across the country.
