When the pandemic hit, we supported clients to develop and roll out real-time initiative­s around Covid informatio­n programmes, issue management, internal communicat­ions, and consumer and customer-facing communicat­ions. Our diverse portfolio of clients also meant we had many clients strengthen­ing communicat­ions with a wider range of audiences. Leaning into our network colleagues, we had access to best-in-class digital platforms and insights, which we utilised to create digital firsts for many of our clients and brand partners.

Zoom, Skype and Microsoft Teams have become invaluable tools for collaborat­ing with clients and staff. Many of us definitely don’t miss the daily commute, but on the other hand those of us with families also had to deal with home schooling, which in the initial lockdown phase took its toll on myself and my husband. We all miss someone popping their head around the door for a quick chat, or think-tank sessions sitting around the boardroom table
