ACTIVITY Covid-19 has affected activity levels across the firm, with counter cyclical areas remaining busy throughout, workload in some areas increasing (particularly toward the latter end of 2020) and other areas seeing some drop-off in activity levels. Our restructuring and insolvency practice in particular saw a positive impact, while areas like tax, employment, technology, investment funds and litigation remained steadily busy. Key areas of focus have included technology, restructuring and insolvency, commercial property and employment law.

REMOTE WORKING Most of our people have adapted remarkably well to remote working, and we are really impressed by the service delivery and client engagement levels we have been able to maintain. I feel it has been more challenging for our junior staff,
