Boston Scientific Corporation is planning a €30m investment in its Cork facility, to accelerate the development and manufacturing of minimally invasive medical technologies. The project is expected to generate 70 roles in engineering and production over the next three years.

Whoop, which makes wearable fitness devices that rival Fitbit, is opening a Dublin office as the base for its expansion into Europe and will have 50 staff members in place by the end of 2022.
