CONSTRUCTION COSTS

Construction price inflation increased by 7.0% in the first half of 2021, according to the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland. This compares with 1.3% recorded in the previous six months. The Society attributed the increase to supply chain issues and intense competition internationally for building materials.
