APPOINTMENTS

● David Widger has been named as A&L Goodbody’s new managing partner, starting from 1 May 2022. Currently, Widger is head of the law firm’s corporate department.

● Financial services law firm Walkers has appointed Jonathan Sheehan as managing partner at its Ireland office, succeeding Garry Ferguson.

● Jim Pettigrew has been appointed as non-executive chairman of AIB Group.

● Law firm Pinsent Masons has appointed Ann Lalor as head of its Dublin office. She succeeds Gayle Bowen, who is to focus on her role as head of the Irish Investment Funds practice.
