Greenhouse gas emissions fell by 3.6% in 2020, according to the Environmental Protection

Agency. There was a 15.7% decrease in transport emissions due to Covid lockdowns, and a 7.9% reduction in energy industry emissions due to less electricity generated from peat and more from wind power.
