I
’ve managed to do some travel for both business and pleasure over the last few months, following all public health guidelines. Earlier this year, I based myself in Hook Head and worked out of there for two months. If there’s one positive from Covid-19, I think it must be the rebirth and rediscovery of Ireland as a place to live and work. It’s not a good thing to be at your desk from 8am to 8pm every day. It’s important to plan a work/life balance, whether that be exercise or meeting friends.
Pandemic lockdowns of the construction, retail and hospitality sectors had a major effect on our business. In 2021 we focused on solutions and grew our business with new technologies. We have now adapted to the new normal.
The advent of hybrid and blended learning has accelerated, and we’ve probably seen ten years’ worth of development in two years. We’re proud of the content we’ve created recently, helping people to upskill and become more agile in their learning.
We’ve recently launched a new global partnership with Microsoft that allows Teams users to benefit from high-quality and easy-to-use digital content.
It’s a very exciting partnership that will, we believe, help to transform the teaching and learning environment and benefit everyone who uses it.
