Based outside Drogheda Co. Louth in the townland of Grangebellew, Declan has a vast knowledge of the used car market and has a large network of UK and Irish suppliers at his disposal.

Having previously worked for 11 years as sales manager with a BMW Dealership, he quickly gained a reputation for his expert knowledge and reliability, a reputation that previously carried over into the Callanan Motor Company.

‘With the pressure off me, I decided to open my business from my home in Grangebellew with a lower cost base and more time to concentrate on my customers needs and giving them a better value deal,’ says Declan.
‘I have 20 years experience in the motor industry and a loyal customer base which was a big advantage to starting up again.’
Declan is now pleased to offer a more personal service, helping people to source exactly the vehicle to suit their needs, at the best possible price.
‘It’s back to basics really for me, but this means I can make the most of one of my skills which is matching the perfect vehicle to the customer,’ he explains.
