HOSPICE CLASSIC

The East Meath Hospice Association is holding their annual golf classic at Laytown & Bettystown golf club this Friday 30th May. The EMHA would be most appreciative to any one or any company for their support of this most worthy cause. This will be the nineteenth year of the classic. The funds raised have been of great benefit to cancer sufferers and their families. The EMHA is a local registered charity which is run by volunteers. Their aim is to offer anyone in the community who are suffering from cancer the use of their experience and skills. They provide voluntary driver services to bring people to and from Dublin and Drogheda hospitals fro radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatments. They also provide funds for equipment, respite care and special needs. Every euro that is donated will help to ease the burden. EMHA may be contacted at 087 2100036 for driving services or through their local GPs, public health nurse or the local pharmacies.
