Anna Faulkner continues to go from strength to strength after she finished first for the club, followed closely by Pelumi Fanifosi and Caer niGhibne (both in the top 10) and Lily Cummins who finshed in a fine 11th place.

The Under-15 Boys race saw both Boyne AC contenders finish in the top 10, with great runs from Calum Sheedy and Killian McLoughlin.

In the Under-17 Girls race, Cliodhna Nolan ran a superb race to take home the sixthplace medal, while in the boys race Tadgh Everitt Thompson finished in a fine ninth overall.

In the Senior Ladies race Sally Clarke was pipped at the post to finish just outside the medals but ran a strong race nonetheles­s.

Also in action on Sunday last, Tara McCullough and Nicky Veale both took part in the Trim 10-Mile Road Race and were delighted to finish strongly, setting new PBs for themselves.

And in the fantastic new Indoor Arena in Abbotstown, Amy McTeggart competed in the AAI games, jumping 1.70m in the high jump and earning a new personal best in the hurdles - a time of 9.63sec.
