LISA’S WINDOW
THE Vincent’s Shop in the Laurence Shopping Centre has been acknowledged in the top three of the best Valentine’s Day window displays in Britain and Ireland.
Charity Shop VM, which celebrates the visual merchandising talents of charity shops, held a competition to recognise the best windows out there.
The winner was Oxfam Harborne in Birmingham. Action Cancer Coleraine’s colourful display was second and then came the stunning Beauty and the Beast display in the Laurence Centre where Lisa Kerr McArdle is an inspiration.
Other top entries came from Cat’s Protection in Gillingham, the Greyhound Rescue Wales in Cardiff and the YMCA in Norfolk.
Lisa said the window has attracted a lot of attention with a number of young children coming along to get their picture taken outside it!
‘It’s been popular,’ she added.
