Lotto draw takes place every Sunday night in the Hunterstow­n Inn. Tickets can be bought from any committee member, the Hunterstow­n Inn or from the bingo. Rehearsals are going really well for our Strictly Rivals on March 11th in the Nuremore Hotel. It’s a battle of the clubs as we take on Stabannon to win the Strictly title for 2017.

Tickets for the Strictly Rivals Show are now available from any of our dancers, or from any Committee member. This is a big fundraiser for our club and we genuinely appreciate the huge effort our Mitchel’s dancers are putting in.

Another very important group who have rallied to our cause are our sponsors, both of our dancers and of the main event. John Mitchel’s are preparing to commence our training and Óg Sport blitzes for the coming year. We provide football for all ages from Nursery up, and all our coaches are Garda-vetted. We will also be hosting our annual Louth GAA Cúl Camp in July. Online booking will be available shortly.

Our 40x20 juvenile handball coaching will continue at Gormonston College Sports Complex next Wednesday at 6.30pm. Transport departs from the Pheasant car park at 6pm.

The All-Ireland 40x20 singles festival finals will take place at Kingscourt Handball Club on the weekend 17th to 19th March with the Mens, Ladies, Minor and Adult finals on Saturday 18th and the Juvenile singles and doubles finals on Sunday 19th. Club players and supporters wishing to go to this event can contact club secretary J Kelly asap please.

Club membership is now due. Adult players fees are €40, juvenile fees are €15 membership forms can be obtained at Coke hall reception. Players wishing to purchase handballs, gloves, eyeguards,club shirts etc can do so by contacting and committee member. THERE was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne’s Camogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 15th February. The winning numbers were 12, 23, 24 & 25. There were 3 match 3 winners Bridget Molloy, Frank Woods and Adrian Woods who won €50 each. Next weeks jackpot stays at €10,000. Tickets are available from the usual local outlets, Lotto sellers and any committee member. Funds raised from our Lotto draw go towards the running of the club and your support is greatly appreciate­d.

In our Last Man Standing Competitio­n there were 33 entries that made it through to the third round of the competitio­n next weekend. Everyone left is to get their picks in before Saturday afternoon.

Naomh Fionnbarra Ladies had a good win in a challenge game on Sunday morning. Well done.

Hard luck to our Intermedia­te team who were beaten 0-12 (12) to 1-4 (7) by Dundalk Gaels in the second round of the Paddy Sheelan Cup on Sunday morning in Dundalk.

Supporter’s of the club can now buy club gear directly from the O’Neills website. THE lotto jackpot wasn’t won and rises to €7,600. The €20 winners were Brenda & Robert Ledwith, Dolores Kelly, Peter & Ann Kierans, AnnMarie & Stuart McDonnell, Annie Molloy.

Naomh Mairtin will be holding its annual reunion in the Westcourt Hotel on Saturday the 25th of February at 8pm. As this is the 60th anniversar­y of our club which also coincides with the presentati­on of our double winning minor team from last year, tickets are limited to 250. So if you need one or more order through the club secretary by text ASAP. Tickets are €30 each, four course meal and music on the night. Limited number of tickets left. HARD luck to the Colmcilles on Sunday and to Colm Nally in what was a great game of football - a fantastic achievemen­t to reach the final.

Sat 22nd Apr - Strictly Come Dancing Fundraiser in The Barbican (there are still some spots available for dancers - come to the Blues any Wednesday at 8pm if interested).

Mon 10th - Fri 14th July - GAA Cul Camp in Newtown Blues.
