Crunch time for Boyne
BOYNE face another crunch match in their All-Ireland League survival mission this coming Saturday when fellow strugglers Seapoint are the visitors to Shamrock Lodge (kick-off 2.30pm).
Already six points adrift at the foot of the Division 2C table, Graeme Eastwood’s charges are looking to avoid a ninth straight defeat, and on paper this looks to be the least difficult of their five remaining assignments.
The Drogheda men look set to be without Padraic Mongey and Eoin Duffy through injury, but they did run promotion-chasing Sligo very close two weeks ago and a similar level of performance might be enough to register what would be a morale-boosting victory.
