Dundalk Gaels are hosting a registrati­on night for all players from U7s to U12s in the clubrooms on Thursday 23rd March from 7.30pm to 9pm. To assist with the running of juvenile teams a modest registrati­on fee will be charged this year - €30 for first child, €20 for second and €10 for subsequent children. Those who pay for registrati­on on the night will receive a new jersey. Refreshmen­ts will be served. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. THERE were no jackpot or match3 winners in last week’s lotto which means the jackpot rises to €5,000 this week.

We will be assembling at O’Raghallaig­h’s, North Road, at 10.30am. The parade will start at noon and will end at the North Quay at 1.30pm. Parents, please confirm with coaches if your child will be attending. Parents (in club gear) can walk behind teams if they wish in order to facilitate collecting their child. All parents should collect their children promptly at the end of the parade!

There’s less than three weeks to go to the Glen Emmets 5k Fun Run-walk on Sunday April 2nd at 2pm. It is an AAI-permitted course. All entrants will be chiptimed. The cost of doing the run is as follows: Adults €15, Under-18s €10, Under-12s €5 (not chipped, must be accompanie­d by an adult). There will be a family rate (2 adults/2 under-18s) for €25. Registrati­on is now open online. Come out and support a great family day, bring the buggy or the dog - all welcome!

Numbers drawn in last Tuesday’s lotto for a €10,000 jackpot were 5, 9, 17, 18, and in the draw for €2,400 the numbers were 9, 19, 28, 31.
