This Tuesday night’s jackpots are €10,000 and €2,800 for the draws in the Morning Star. Senior football training continues every Tuesday and Thursday, while Juvenile training is on every Friday at 6.30pm. Registrati­on is free. We provide football for all ages from our Nursery Programme upwards, with all our coaches Garda-vetted.

John Mitchel’s, who were part of the organising Committee for last year’s Stephen Melia Sevens competitio­n along with Louth GAA and St Joseph’s, recently presented the IMND Associatio­n with a cheque for more than €8,000 which was raised through the event. Well done to all!

John Mitchel’s are celebratin­g a significan­t milestone, with it been 60 years since its founding in 1957. This is being commemorat­ed by a special Celebratio­n Dance in Darver Castle on April 30th. The MacArdle Cup winners of 1990 and the 1992 Junior Championsh­ip winners will also be marked.
