TABLE QUIZ

Duleek Cardiac First Response Group are holding a table quiz in the Carranstown Lodge, Drogheda Rd, Duleek on Thursday 13th April at 9pm. Tables of four cost €20 & everybody will be entered into a free draw.

Tickets for our Easter raffle are now on sale from all our responders. The draw will take place on Holy Thursday. There are fabulous prizes including a Bord Failte voucher, Dinner for 2 in The Snailbox, Four Ball at Bellewstown golf course, DID Electrical voucher plus many more prizes. Tickets cost €2 each, 3 for €5, 6 for €10 or a book of 10 tickets for €15.

We provide a cardiac first response service alongside the National Ambulance Service within a 5km radius of Duleek including Donore & Bellewstown. We are a voluntary group and don’t receive any government funding so we are solely relying on support from the community.

DULEEK ANGLERS CLUB

Duleek Anglers Club will hold a trout competition on the river Nanny on Sunday the 9th of April for the Club Cup. The junior competition is for the Club Shield. Meeting at the parish centre from 10;30am with fishing from 11am to 4pm. For further details contact the club secretary on 0874153781.

ARA NEWS

Duleek/Bellewstown Active Retirement are holding a meeting at 2pm Wednesday 5th April in the Parish Hall in Duleek. All members are requested to attend. A collection will be made for the 1st response. Please give generously to this life saving organisation. There will be games, cards, bingo, free raffle and the usual cup of tea! Bowles every Tuesday at 2pm.

DULEEK FAIR WEEKEND

Duleek Fair Weekend takes place on July 1st and 2nd 2017, with free family fun and entertainment for people of all ages. There will be plenty of stalls on the village green on the Sunday. SENIOR CITIZENS

Duleek Senior Citizens Outings Committee are holding their Annual Beard/Head Shave on Saturday night the 22nd of April in the Carranstown Lodge starting at 8.30 sharp. So please come along early and watch these brave men face the blade. We would like to thank everyone to support these brave volunteers, their names are as follows: Cian Farrell, Gerard McHugh, Andy Sheridan, Paddy McConnon Snr, Paddy cudden, Christy Murry and Gerry ‘Mo’ Smith. All funds will go towards the Senior Citizens Summer Outing. There will be music and finger food on the night plus a raffle. Admission is FREE, please come along and have a good laugh, sponsor cards can still be obtained from Paddy Cudden, Paddy McConnon Snr, Alana Andrews and Anita Lynch. See you all at the Toll!

HOSPICE FUNDRAISER

Bellewstown Golf Club in association with Duleek Women’s Forum are holding an Easter raffle. With 1st prize of a hamper and lots more prizes. Tickets cost €2 each or 3 for €5, with the proceeds going to the East Meath Hospice. The raffle will take palce on Easter Sunday in the clubhouse. Tickets are available from both the Bellewstown Golf Club committee members and Duleek Women’s Forum members.

EGG STRAVAGANZA

There will be an Egg Stravaganza taking place on Easter Sunday in Sage & Stone, Duleek from 11am until 5pm with a spring food and craft sale also.

COMMUNITY SHOP

Duleek Community Shop will be having a massive book and DVD sale from Monday 3rd April until Easter. Please support your community shop which in turn provides support for the community.

CEILI WORKSHOP

There will be a Ceili Workshop on Sunday 9th April 2017 from 2pm to 4pm in the Parish Centre Duleek. Admission costs €5 and includes tea. Children are welcome. There will be a Ceili on Saturday 20th May 2017, in the Parish Centre at 8.30pm . Music by the Tara Ceili Band. Admission €7 which includes supper.

DULEEK ICA

Duleek IC A are holding their next meeting on Wednesday 5th of April in the prayer rooms Duleek at 8pm, new members always welcome.

GFC DRIVE IN BINGO

The first Drive In Bingo of 2017 will be held on Sunday 9th April at 3pm at Bellewstown racecourse. Over €3000 in prize money to be won! All welcome!
