Royals set up Dublin final date

MEATH needed victory in this one to set up a Leinster U-14 final against Dublin and they made no mistake by overcoming the hosts at Hawkfield.

The winners laid the foundations in the opening half at the end of which they led 3-6 to 2-1.

Nicole Smith scored two of the goals while Rathkenny’s Zoe Matthews also found the net.
