Dunleer out in force

AT the Navan AC 6k on Friday night last Dunleer AC’s road runners and Fit4Life athletes were out in force, with some great performances and personal bests over this quite unusual distance.

Garrett Murray led the men home in 22:19, while Karen Costello - fresh from her Leinster 3km Road Race success - was a worthy second-place finisher in the ladies (F40) with 23:14.

Other Dunleer finishers were Richard Califf (24:39), Barry McGinn (25:46), Liam Healy (26:40), Nicola Courtney (27:13), Peter Ryan (27:16) and Audrey Murray (28:30).

Elsewhere, at the Cooley Coast 10km race on Saturday Róisín Donnelly finished second in the F40 section which was a great performance once again from this road-running enthusiast.
