DUNDALK LADIES

THE 18 Hole Stableford Competition sponsored by Felda onSaturday 6th and& Tuesday 9th May proved to be a huge success. One hundred and thirty five ladies played.

The scoring was extremely competitive with many ladies coming in below the standard scratch. Class C players were in top form with Joyce Burbage winning with a fantastic 42pts and Mags Coburn runner up with a superb 40pts. Well done to all the ladies and in particular to Joyce. Lovely to see her in the winning enclosure.

Lady Captain Maeve Ahern thanked Jackie from Felda for their sponsorship and thanked them for their continued support of the ladies section.

Result: Class A - 1st Marie Strain (15) 36pts, 2nd Betty Rogers (12) 34/20 pts Class B - 1st Joyce Burbage (24) 42pts, 2nd Mags Coburn (20) 40pts, 3rd Rosemary Gardiner (21) 37/19 Class C - 1st Geraldine Gorham (36) 39/18pts, 2nd Marcella Carr (36) 39/17 pts, 3rd Sally McDonnell (31) 38/18/12 pts; 9-hole: 1st Geraldine Rogers (28) 18 pts.
