A DASH of history, a dose of culture, fresh air, old friends and new.

Get your boots on for this year’s Boyne Valley Walking Festival over the June Bank Holiday weekend.

The Boyne Valley Walking Festival is back this June Bank Holiday with some great walks.

Now in its 7th year, the organizers have had over 30 different walks to date. Set up to make the Boyne Valley a walking destination, the festival has attracted over 30% of its participants from outside the area.

The weekend has a mix of easy, moderate and one challenging walk set mostly off road.

There are short special interest walks also, to explore the area’s great heritage. This has been achieved with kind permission of landowners and state bodies such as the OPW.

The Festival offers a once off opportunity to get off road and experience unique views of the Boyne Valley.
