GREENHILLS SUMMER CAMP

Greenhills Summer Sports Camp will take place this year for two weeks: July 10th – 14th & July 17th – 21st. This year we have added two fantastic new activities; The Rodeo Bull Ride & The Wipeout Game- also known as The Last Man Standing. BLESSING OF FISHING FLEET

The Annual Blessing of our Fishing Fleet will be taking place on Sunday 23rd July at 3 p.m. in the Harbour. This is always a great day in Clogherhea­d with the boats all dressed up in bunting and flags vying for “Best dressed Boat” and there will also be various competitio­ns on the day at the Pier. Hope to see you all there.

DREADNOTS GOLF

The Annual Golf Classic will take place in Seapoint Golf Club on Friday 26th May. 4 person team Stapleford costs €180 and times may be booked by contacting Padraig Rath on 087 6784912. Tee Box or Greens at €50 may be sponsored by phoning Padraig Rath. Presentati­on on the night in Levins Bar at 10pm sharp.

Bingo continues every Monday night in the a.m. - Community Hall, Clogherhea­d starting at 8.30.p.m.

Dreadnots games will be starting shortly and a reminder that Membership Fees are now due for 2017. If you would like to join as a new member you may do so now. Thank you.

JUVENILE REGISTRATI­ON FEES

The Registrati­on Fees for the juvenile players are now due and may be paid to any committee member. Thank you.

19th May – May Day collection selling pins in Scotch Hall and around the town. 4th June- Listoke Gardens. Need helpers to make sandwiches/ tea/coffee.3rd & 4th June. Van Festival, Beaulieu Gardens. Helpers needed for the stall. 10th & 11th June. Drogheda Maritime Festival. Helpers needed for the stall. 22nd July. Bag Packing in Tesco’s, Donore. 6/7th August Church Gate Collection. 11th August Annual Golf Classic in Seapoint 1st September. Flag Day, Colpe Cross, Drogheda. 8th September Flag Day Scotch Hall. Car Wash – Open Day. TBA. Help is needed on above dates and also in the Lifeboat Shop during the week in June, July and August. Even 1 hour helping out would be very much appreciate­d. LOUTH FAMILY CARERS SUPPORT MEETING

The 3rd Tuesday of every month has been set aside for the above meeting which will take place in the Community Hall, Clogherhea­d at 8 p.m. At this meeting, the organisers provide essential informatio­n in emotional and practical support learn about benefits and entitlemen­ts to family members who are carers and all over a cup of tea.
