Rossin Rovers Football Club are holding their A.G.M this Friday 19th May in Monknewtow­n Community Hall at 8:00pm. All club members and new members are welcome - one community one club.

PARISH NEWS

LMFM Mass will be recorded on Saturday 10th of June at 7.30pm. St. Oliver’s relic will visit our church on Saturday 17th of June at the 7.30pm. Corpus Christi Cemetery Sunday on Sunday the 18th of June at 11am. We wish all the boys and girls well for their First Holy Communion on Saturday 20th of May.

Saturday 27th of May will be a very special day in our parish calendar. Fr. Dooley will be twenty five years a priest and to celebrate his silver jubilee there will be Mass at 7.30pm. and this will be followed by refreshmen­ts in the Parish hall. The Parish Pastoral Council welcomes all to this special celebratio­n.

CRAFT CLUB

A quick note to anyone the ladies out there who are a little creative or who would like have a go at being creative. There is a Craft Club in Starinagh. This is a weekly meeting where ladies meet to try out different crafts, they meet at 10.30 every Tuesday morning . They also organise crafty /cultural outings. It sounds like it could be lots of fun, so if you would like to join us give Teresa a call on 086 3212986, they are always open to new members.

SLIMMING WORLD TIMES

Slimming World have two classes each week on Thursdays. The first class is 5pm and the second is 7pm. Why not head on down to the Glen Emmets Clubrooms and get on the right track.

MEN’S SHED

The Men’s Shed Tullyallen meet up every Tuesday and Friday mornings 10am till 1.00pm. This is open to all men in the Parish and surroundin­g areas. Everyone has something to offer the Shed they would be delighted to get new members on board.

GLEN EMMETS CLUBROOMS

The Glen Emmets have a function room and a meeting room available for meetings or parties. Contact Jack Carolan on (087) 2316722 for details. KELLOGS GAA CÚL CAMP 2017

The Glen Emmets will be hosting the Kellogs GAA Cúl Camp on 17th to 21st July. This was enormously successful over the last few years and it is great to have them coming back to our village. Booking started up on 1st March, so book your place early.

LOTTO RESULTS

Results for the Glen Emmets Lotto held Tuesday, 9th May April 2017. The Grand Prize Draw for €10,000 was held and there was no winner. The numbers drawn were: 2, 24, 28 & 30. The second draw for €3,300 was also held and there was no winner for that draw, the numbers drawn were: 3, 19, 21 & 27. The Lucky dip winners for €25 are as follows: Nicky Carolan, Niall & Sean Og, Karen McConnon & Laura Finnegan . The Main Jackpot will remain at €10,000 until it is won and the second draw is now €3,400. So when you purchase your lotto ticket, you will now be entered into two draws every week. Tickets are on sale in Mace Tullyallen or any committee member.

CARERS WISH TO SAY THANK YOU

The Tullyallen Carers would like to say a huge Thank You to everyone who was involved in the Tullyallen Tractor Run that took place last December. To the helpers, those who donated, Pat Barns, Gerry Healy, Derek Russell and Mace Shop, your time, effort and hard work is very much appreciate­d. The money that was raised for the Carers will go a long way in their organizati­on.
