Time to make us a city!

FERGUS O’Dowd, Fine Gael TD for Louth and East Meath, is calling for city status for Drogheda.

“The latest data released by the Central Statistics Office has shown us that for the second census in a row, Drogheda is the largest town in Ireland. I have been an advocate of city status for Drogheda for many years. I think given its location and room for expansion, it is inevitable that Drogheda will be given city status,’ he stated.
