Quad bikes wreaking havoc

THE issue of ongoing anti-social behaviour and youths riding quads bike at speed through the estate in Rathmullen needs to be addressed, it has been claimed. Raising the issue at the May meeting of Drogheda Municipal District, Councillor Tommy Bryne said he had received a number of complaints about quad bikes being driven through the estate in a dangerous manner. Councillors said gardaí had been called on a number of occasions about this.

Borough Engineer Pat Finn said they were aware of the anti-social behaviour taking place in Ballsgrove and Rathmullen and have visited the site on a number of occasions. He said the council will revisit this issue and see if anything can be done to combat it.
