Cedarfield contractor criticised
THE conduct of contractors working in the Cedarfield estate has been criticised with a local councillor claiming they showed little regard for residents in the area. RAISING the issue at the May meeting of Drogheda Municipal District, Councillor Paul Bell said the workers were parking their vehicles up on green spaces and on verges which have been so badly damaged that the grass now needs to be reinstated. ‘ THE footpaths are blocked off, there is no consideration where pedestrians are walking. They are working in a residential area they are not on a building site. The rules are different,’ he said. ‘A strong message needs to go out from the council.’
