Old Vehicles Owners Club in Louth/Meath

EVERY year the Celtic Old Vehicle Owners Club (COVOC) holds its flagship event called the Norman Pratt Memorial Run in honour of its founder Norman Pratt.

The aim is have a fun day out and to raise valuable funds for a chosen charity, which this year is Louth and Meath Palliative Care.

Starting at City North Hotel with 132 classic and vintage car entries, the route took them through the scenic and picturesqu­e roads of Louth and Meath with the lunch stop at An Grianan.

Here, the 230 entrants were treated royally amid elegant surroundin­gs, starting with lunch, which included the famous An Grianan brack, and a leisurely stroll through the beautiful gardens.

The day concluded with prize-giving and an award ceremony at dinner in the City North Hotel.
