Yellow box for Silk Park estate

A yellow box is to be installed on the Platin Road at the entrace to the Silk Park estate, it has been revealed.

A spokesperson for Louth County Council said the matter is currently ‘in hand’ and the contractor has been tasked with the work, which will be completed on the next occasion that they are working in the area.

The confirmation ws given in response to a notice of motion from Councillor Kenneth Flood who asked that the council install the yellow box so that residents can freely enter and exit their estate.
