NATIONAL Volunteering Week takes place this year from the 15th to the 21st May. This year it focuses on health and well-being and the positive impact of volunteering.
Louth Volunteer Centre is hosting National Volunteer Week events taking place in Louth. These include a ‘Do Good Feel Good Volunteer Leadership’ Seminar in Bellingham Castle on Tuesday 16th May, with special guest speaker, Joe Rooney.
They are also hosting open days/coffee mornings across the county on Thursday 18th May from 10am – 1pm as part of a national campaign, including in the Louth Volunteer Centre office in Bolton Street, Drogheda and Ardee Library. All events are free and refreshments will be provided. Tickets to the Do Good Feel Good Volunteer Leadership Seminar are available to book through the centre or on their Facebook page www.facebook.com/ volunteerlouth.
