Tour to feature St Oliver

THE Louth Archaeological Society will host a special excursion to Drogheda on Sunday June 11.

It will follow in the footsteps of St Oliver Plunkett and starts at 2.30pm at St Peter’s. Tour leaders are Tommy Burns and John McCullen.

The tour will include St Peter’s, the former Siena Convent on the Chord Road, the Dominican cemetery on the Chord Road and other sites.
