Polska festivalin Drogheda

THE 1st Polska Éire Festival ( Poland meets Ireland) 2017 will be held on Saturday 27th May in the Drogheda Museum Millmount from 3- 6.30pm and in The Good Thyme Café, Mayoralty St. from 8-11pm . Admission to all events will be free.

The afternoon event will consist of music, dance, poetry and art, Featuring: The Robinson School of Irish Dancing, Drogheda Comhaltas, Przemyslaw Lozowski and The Polska Orkiestra w Droghedzie /Polish Orchestra in Drogheda, Michael Holohan, Susan Connolly, Helen Leahy and friends, Six- String Drum, a Reception and an Art Exhibition.

The Mayor of Drogheda Oliver Tully and the Polish Embassy will attend.

The evening event will feature the singer-songwriter circle hosted by Gerry Hodgers and the Purple Sessions, Marcin Fabisiak I Przyjaciele, Six-String Drum (Breifne Holohan, Dan Reid and Grace Dillon).
