Laytown’s Aldi store decision delayed

A DECISION on the development of a new Aldi store on the site of the former Creevelea nursing home on the Strand Road in Laytown has been delayed for a further month.

A decision was expected last week on the bid to construct the single storey foodstore.

The proposed development will be served by 104 car parking spaces with access to the site from Strand Road (R150).

Meath CC gave permission for it but that was appealed to An Bord Pleanala.

A number of objections had been lodged with the council.
