Bus set down area for Donore Road

A NEW bus set down area on the Donore Road has been approved for public tender by Louth CC.

“I am delighted to have reached this stage having submitted the motion for this badly needed facility in 2014. The construction of the bus set down area will run into several thousand euro which I believe is a good investment in the interest of public safety and the safety of commuters boarding buses on route to Dublin and into the town of Drogheda. I am confident that the works will be completed over the summer period when the local schools as are closed for holidays,’ said Cllr Paul Bell.
