Walk and Talk series about the town

THE Old Drogheda Society’s series of Walk & Talks continue on Wednesday May 31st, when Liam Reilly will lead the walk starting from outside Barlow House ( the former Garda Station) at 7.30 pm and talking in the Abbey of St Mry d’Urso, the Linenhall, the Abbey ballroom and cinema, the Dominicans in Drogheda, St Dominics Bridge,the Boyne Ferry, Wellington Quay and the Duke’s Drogheda connections, the entrance gate to the Ball estate,Preston’s Distillery, John Jameson’s Drogheda connection, the Boyne Tavern/McNallys, Boyne Court and Meatmarket Lane.

Once again it’s a fairly short walk but with a huge amount of historical content. Everyone welcome , there is no charge but donations to the Old Drogheda Society will be accepted.The Walk and talk should finish by 9 pm.
